Swim Classes
Each and every of our swim classes have a maximum of only 3 children per class. This is to ensure we optimise your child’s learning through focused attention, fun and reduced distractions. Unique to our Buderim location is that we also only have 1 class in the pool at a time. This is to enhance a quiet learning environment, maximise your child’s swim time, and support children who may be timid around water. You also have the ability to book a one-on-one session so your child’s swim technique can be perfected!

Flexible Make-up lesson
We understand that life can get busy sometimes, and that flexibility to support your child’s learning is important. That’s why we offer the option to reschedule your child’s class to a better time that suits when needed. Simply remove your child from their class prior to the cut of time and you’ll be able to re-book them for a new time when suits better. You can do all this through the MySSS Client Portal or simply call or email us.

Our Unique Pool Design
Our state-of-the-art swim facility is uniquely designed for you and your child’s needs in mind. With several different depths to support progressive learning your child can gain confidence and develop their skills quickly. Our airconditioned observation area provides parents and loved ones the opportunity to watch each swim class in quiet comfort.

Heated Pool
At Shaplands the comfort of your child is our top priority. That’s why our pool is set at 32 degrees Celsius all year round. As children generally have a low percentage body fat, our 8 decades of teaching experience has taught us that they usually feel cold in water below 32 degrees Celsius. It is important to us that every child, as well as their parent who enters the water with them feels comfortable in the water. This ensures that the activity of swimming brings joy and your child’s learning can be optimised.

Clean and Gentle Water
Shaplands are dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of your child. Because we understand that some children have eyes and skin that are sensitive, we use Magna mineral pool water. This innovation in water science provides Shapland’s with a healthier water for your children to learn-to-swim and bathe in. Not only is it gentle on eyes, and therapeutic for the skin, it also naturally sanitises the pool water 24/7.

In addition to Magna Mineral water, here at our Buderim school our pool also features a state-of-the-art AOP secondary Disinfectant System. This combines Ozone and Ultraviolet light to clean the water 24 hours a day. The effect is a sparkling pool with incredibly low levels of irritants that you find in normal pools. This combined with the Magna pool system that all Shaplands use gives you the softest, cleanest pool available.
