Swim Classes
Every class has a maximum of three children which means your child gets the attention they need to progress without feeling overwhelmed. Smaller classes keep learning focused and fun so each lesson feels productive.
Parents are welcome to relax in our airconditioned observation area where you can enjoy a quiet comfortable view of each class.
Flexible Make-Up Lessons
We know life with little ones can be unpredictable, so we offer free make-up lessons to help keep your child on track and make your life easier.
If you need to reschedule, simply cancel their class before the cut off time and choose a new spot that works better through our MySSS Client Portal. It’s as simple as that!
Our Unique Pool Design
Our pool has been carefully designed with 10 different depths which helps children progress faster while building skills and confidence at their own pace without feeling rushed or pressured and thrown into the deep end (literally)!
Heated Pool
Comfort makes a big difference when children are learning to swim. Our pool sits at a toasty 32°C all year round which is the ideal temperature for little swimmers.
With many decades of teaching experience we know children tend to feel the cold more easily.
Keeping the water warm helps your child stay relaxed and makes each lesson an enjoyable experience for both them and any parent joining them in the water.
Magna Mineral Water
At Shapland, we care deeply about your child’s wellbeing which is why we use Magna mineral water in our pool. It’s gentle on eyes, skin and hair and offers a soothing feel that our families love.
This system also keeps the water naturally sanitised around the clock creating a cleaner, fresher environment for your child to swim and play.
Shapland Swim School Redbank Plains
Enrolment Information
The Shapland Swim School at Redbank Plains, like all Shapland Swim Schools, runs a seamless learn-to-swim program so you never have to rebook your spot. Simply book in the class that best suits you and your family and you are guaranteed your spot every week without needing to rebook!
Swim Lesson Fee Structure
All of our classes are charged monthly in advance by the calendar month. Per family a deposit of $100 is held to secure your child’s weekly swim class. This deposit will be deducted from your last month’s fees, when you give a months notice.
Weekday class: $25 (2 x classes a week on a week day for the same child $45)
Saturday class: $26
Sibling discount: To support families we offer a reduced fee of $23 for weekday classes for a third child and $15 for a fourth child of siblings already enrolled in one of our programs. On Saturdays we offer a reduced fee of $24 for a third sibling and $16 for a fourth sibling.
